Cush Jumbo, best famous for appearing in US array The Good Wife, feels she has missed out on roles since her skin colour doesn’t “fit” with other actors in a production.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live Jumbo pronounced try-out feedback described her as “too black” for some tools and “too light” for others.
“I don’t consider those people are racist,” she said. “It’s that we have an thought in a heads here of illustration on TV and it doesn’t paint a nation that we live in.”
