A supplement to charcterised strike The Secret Life of Pets has been given a go-ahead by Universal Pictures.

The recover date for a film is scheduled for 13 Jul 2018.

Director Chris Renaud and author Brian Lynch will lapse for a follow-up, that will be co-produced by Minions creators Illumination Entertainment.

The film, that imagines what domicile pets get adult to when their owners are out, has done some-more than $400m (£310m) worldwide given being released.

Louis CK provides a voice of Max, a dog perturbed when his owners brings another pooch – uttered by Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet – home to live with them.
